Violence and Dangerous Activities

4. "Shouts" Guidelines

"Shouts" are public posts for services, tasks, or community announcements. When posting shouts:

Acceptable Shouts

  • Legitimate service requests (cleaning, tutoring, pet care, etc.)
  • Item sales or exchanges
  • Community event announcements
  • Local business promotions (limited frequency)
  • Volunteer opportunities
  • Lost and found items

Prohibited Shouts

  • Spam or repetitive posts
  • Misleading or false service descriptions
  • Adult services or escort advertisements
  • Multi-level marketing or pyramid schemes
  • Illegal goods or services
  • Posts unrelated to your local area

5. Group Content Standards

Local groups should maintain content relevant to their purpose and location:

  • Stay on-topic for the group's purpose
  • Respect group-specific rules set by moderators
  • Keep discussions civil and constructive
  • Avoid excessive self-promotion
  • Report inappropriate content to group moderators

6. Spam and Commercial Content
